Born on May 9th, 1984.
Graduated with honors from the two-year Jazz Piano program at the Nicolini Conservatory in Piacenza.
Diploma in Jazz Piano from the International Academy of Music in Milan, under the guidance of Maestro Franco D'Andrea.
Graduated in Science and Technology of Musical Communication in Milan.
Studied with Franco D'Andrea, Umberto Petrin, Barry Harris, Alberto Tacchini, Fabio Gianni, Mario Rusca, Gabriele Comeglio, Marco Vaggi, Franco Cerri, Enrico Intra.
Was a pianist for the Civica Jazz Band, which has collaborated with Dave Liebman, Max Roach, Bobby Watson, David Murray, James Newton, Patrice Caratini, Lennart Aberg, Eddie Daniels, Bob Brookmeyer, David Raksin, Andrew Hill, Kenny Barron, and Kenny Wheeler.
Has performed with artists such as Peter Brotzmann, Ken Vandermark, Rudi Mahall, Mikolaj Trzaska, Enrico Rava, Alberto Mandarini, Franco Ambrosetti, Emilio Soana,Marco Vaggi, Roberto Rossi, Tony Arco, Gabriele Comeglio, Riccardo Luppi, Tiziano Tononi, Daniele Cavallanti, Cristiano Calcagnile, Tito Mangialajo Rantzer, Francesco Chiapperini, Giancarlo Nino Locatelli, Massimo Falascone, Paolo Botti, Filippo Monico, Franco Cerri, Giulio Visibelli, Paolo Tomelleri, and the Civica Jazz Band in Milan.
With various ensembles, he has performed in Italy and Europe, gaining recognition in the world of radical improvisation, jazz, and free jazz. He has played in many countries, including Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Portugal, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Finland, Denmark, and Germany.
For several years, he has been involved in teaching, gaining experience in teaching modern piano and jazz, and in managing ensemble music groups.
In November 2016, he held an improvisation workshop at the Civico Musicale Brera Institute in Novara.
In 2018, he won the National Arts Award for Best Soloist.
In 2020, he won the Nuovo Imaie competition, allowing him to tour and perform solo piano concerts at major Italian jazz festivals and record an album with a prestigious label.
In 2021 and 2022, he was included in the Top Jazz chart as the best new Italian talent of 2020 and 2021 in Musica Jazz magazine.
He has performed at important festivals and theaters in Italy and abroad, including Ah-Um Milano Jazz Festival, Novara Jazz, Umbria Jazz Fest, Krakow Jazz Autumn, Jazz it Festival, Jazz Italiano Per l'Aquila, Jazz Al Piccolo Teatro, Jazz and Culture Festival in Lugano, Aut Fest (Berlin), Break in Jazz Milano, Ritmo delle Città (Milan), Tales in Jazz, In Tra Jazz e Cinema, Ortica in Jazz, Area M, Artshot 2015, Valdapozzo Festival 2015, Jazz Italiano per l'Aquila 2015, JAZZ MI, Soresina Jazz Festival, Parma Jazz Frontiere, Empoli Jazz, Grey Cat Follonica, Sile jazz, and Bergamo Jazz, Saalfelden jazz fest.
